Reid started out operating other people’s machines. With encouragement from the people around him, he decided to give his own business a go. Pinpoint Excavations began in 2023.
He enjoys operating machinery, but the result matters just as much: a good experience and a customer who’s happy with the work. A return call or a recommendation is the kind of feedback he values.
His approach is straightforward. Show up, do the agreed work and help where it’s needed—even when that means getting out of the machine and onto a shovel.
Pinpoint is based in the Hunter Valley and takes on earthworks throughout Cessnock, Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Singleton and the northern Central Coast.
